Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. When she moved to Oxfordshire at the age of five, Emma enrolled at the Dragon School. Emma chose to be an actor at age six. For several years she was enrolled in the Oxford branch Stagecoach Theatre Arts part-time school. She learned to sing, dancing and acting. Her performances had been in numerous Stagecoach as well as school plays before she turned ten. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000), the movie adaptation from J.K. Rowlings bestselling novel was filmed for very first time back in the year 1999. Emma was discovered by agents via her Oxford teacher. David Heyman told Emma along with Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe after having eight consecutive auditions. Emma's first cinematic appearance was in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in the year 2001. The highest-grossing movie of 2001 it set new records for its debut day sales as well as the opening weekend's earnings. It was highly acclaimed by critics, as were the performance of three stars. The highly distributed British newspaper The Daily Telegraph called her performance admirable. Emma later won five awards to honor her role in the film.
